We are delighted to announce that Summer Soulstice 10, held on Saturday 25th June 2016, has raised another fabulous £40,000 for Cherry Lodge Cancer Care. This hugely successful event, attended by more than 4,500 people, was another great achievement by the Soulstice crew and Cherry Lodge is extremely grateful to everyone involved.
As is customary, the Soulstice crew will be handing over a big cheque to Cherry Lodge representatives at the Black Horse pub on August Bank Holiday Sunday. This new cheque for £40,000 will bring the total raised by Summer Soulstice since 2007 to a hugely impressive £215,000. Summer Soulstice is by far the biggest third-party supporter of Cherry Lodge Cancer Care and Soulstice money is used to pay the salary of Cherry Lodge’s ‘Soulstice’ outreach nurse, Kirsty Mabb, and also to finance the Cherry Lodge van.
For what is sure to be a memorable experience, you are invited to join members of the Soulstice crew at the Big Payback event at the Black Horse pub on August Bank Holiday Sunday, 28th August 2016. As well as eight hours of soulful grooves, funky jams and holiday beats, there will be a barbecue and a wide choice of great beers and wines. The event is from 4pm until midnight and the big cheque handover is scheduled for 6.30pm.
