On Saturday 11th July 2026, the Black Horse pub in Barnet hosted a charity day – ‘Hall of Sound’ – in memory of local resident Graeme Hall. Three local charities are sharing the proceeds: Cherry Lodge Cancer Care, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice and Chipping Barnet Food Bank.
The day was filled, from noon until midnight, with live music from local performers across the two stages, acoustic and electric. A charity auction, with fantastic prizes, was held in the late afternoon. There was delicious food, supplied by local Italian restaurant, Villagio, who donated £1 to Cherry Lodge for every pizza sold. Thank you to everyone who came along – It was a great day out for the whole family.
