Enjoy a fascinating guided tour of old Barnet and also help keep Cherry Lodge Cancer Care’s much needed information and support services completely free of charge.
Our afternnon tour, on Thursday 6th October 2022, will be led by local resident and City of London Guide Paul Baker. It will start at 2pm outside Barnet College and end around an hour later in The Spires. You will see a brewery that became a town hall, a church that became a shopping centre and some beautiful old houses, including alms houses. You will hear stories about Barnet Fair and walk in the footsteps of royalty and writer Charles Dickens.
