Members’ Coffee Mornings (Drop Outs)

Off-site Coffee Mornings for Cherry Lodge members were introduced during the pandemic, when Drop-In sessions at the Cherry Lodge centre were suspended to protect vulnerable members. Missing the sociability and support provided by the old CL Drop Ins, a group of members came up with an alternative – weekly coffee mornings, which they named Drop Outs. These coffee mornings continue to be very popular, providing members, old and new, with a regular opportunity to share cancer experiences, offer mutual support or simply enjoy each other’s company.

Members’ Coffee Mornings are held weekly on Tuesday mornings from 10.15am to 11.45am, normally at the Open Door Centre, St Albans Road, Barnet EN5 4LA.

This social group is member led but Yvonne (CL Home Visiting Coordinator) or one of the CL nurses always visits and will be happy to introduce new people. Please speak to Yvonne before attending for the first time. Free parking is available.
