YES WE CAN!
Each year, Dr Margaret M. Clark, Chairman of the Trustees of Cherry Lodge Cancer Care, makes a heart-felt appeal for donations to help fund CL’s many valuable services for people affected by cancer, including family members. Cherry Lodge receives no funding from NHS or local government grants and is therefore dependent on the generosity of individuals, trusts and companies.
During the last two extraordinarily difficult years, CL staff have worked tirelessly and imaginatively to provide information and support to people at all stages of their cancer journey. This work will continue apace during the months ahead as it becomes possible for some currently suspended services to be reintroduced. Now that the pandemic is in retreat, the CL centre is gradually and cautiously reopening to visitors but telephone and online appointments will continue to be an option for people who need or prefer them. No one who contacts Cherry Lodge for support is ever turned away.
