Fundraising for Cherry Lodge involves a lot of people doing many and varied things for the charity. To say thank you to some of them, Cherry Lodge held a small and informal reception at Howard House on 22nd July 2015.
At the gathering were people who had supported Cherry Lodge in such diverse ways as doing a sponsored swim in the Thames, opening their house and garden for an event, organising charity golf days, and providing delicious goodies from the local Coffee Bean to be enjoyed by our members on numerous occasions. Also present were some of our loyal volunteers who are always willing to help with the fetching and carrying at our events. We were also pleased to be able to welcome a representative from Barclays, which regularly provides matched funding.
The delicious food was much appreciated and enjoyed, and people who had never been to Howard House before were given the opportunity to look around the building.
