Schools Carol Singing for Cherry Lodge

Cherry Lodge Cancer Care sends a big thank you to all the schoolchildren, teaching staff and Cherry Lodge volunteer bucket shakers (silent!) who turned out this year to sing festive music and collect money for us. Between them they raised a wonderful £908.16 to help pay for our information and support services for people affected by cancer, including family members and carers.

Singing for us in The Spires Shopping Centre in Barnet were children from Foulds School and Underhill School (on Wednesday 7th December 2016) and Danegrove School, Cromer Road School and Broadfields School (on Wednesday 14th December 2016). Also singing for us this year in Mill Hill, for the first time, were children from Goodwyn School. Our photos (right and below) show our young supporters from Underhill School, Danegrove School and Broadfields School in The Spires, and Goodwyn School in Mill Hill.

Well done to everyone who took part and thank you also to the many generous people who put money in our buckets!
