Schoolchildren carol singing for Cherry Lodge

Cherry Lodge Cancer Care sends a big thank you to all the children and teachers who turned out this year to sing festive music and raise money for us. Between them they raised nearly £1,000 to help pay for Cherry Lodge’s much needed information and support services for people affected by cancer, including family members and carers.

Singing carols for us in The Spires Shopping Centre in Barnet on Wednesday 4th December 2019 were pupils from Livingstone, Queenswell and Foulds Schools. A week later, on Wednesday 11th December 2019, our singers came from Broadfields, QE Boys’, Whitings Hill and Danegrove School.

The singing was of a very high standard and much appreciated. Shoppers were happy to take time out to listen to the children and showed their appreciation by putting money in the collecting buckets. Thank you to everyone who made a donation and also to Cherry Lodge’s bucket shakers, some of whom got very cold.
