Events Programme
Cherry Lodge Cancer Care fundraisers work hard all year to put on an interesting and varied programme of events. They also help third-party supporters to raise money for us.
The 2026 London Landmarks Half Marathon took place on Sunday 12th April, followed by the Preloved and Reloved Sale at New Ground on Saturday 25th April and the 2026 tcs London Marathon on Sunday 26th April.
On this page of the Cherry Lodge website you can see our events programme presented in two different ways. Use the drop-down menu immediately below this text to select either ‘Agenda’ (an interactive list with dates, which is the default option) or ‘Month’ (an interactive calendar that shows the planned events month by month). Each of these options provides an overview of our scheduled events.
You can find out more detailed information about an event in the following ways. If you are using the Agenda view, click on an event to see a display box and a Read More button to take you to the event page, where you will find full details including a map. If you are using the Monthly Calendar, hover your cursor over an event date to see a display box and then click to go to the event page.
The Co-chairs and Trustees of Cherry Lodge Cancer Care are pleased to invite anyone with an interest in our work to attend our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 2nd June 2026.
The AGM will be held at the Cherry Lodge Centre, Howard House, 23 Union Street, Barnet, starting at 7.00pm. CL Co-chair Sarah Armitage will present the 2025 Annual Report and our auditor, Andrew Geary, will give a summary of our charity’s financial activities during that year. Both Sarah and Andrew will answer questions from the audience.
After the business of the AGM is completed, light refreshments will be served.

Heather, a speaker from Breast Cancer Now, will be holding a breast cancer awareness talk at the Cherry Lodge Cancer Care centre on Thursday 4th June 2026 from 1pm to 2pm.
Anyone can be affected by breast cancer so it’s important to be breast aware. Find out more at our Public Health talk and learn about:

• The signs and symptoms of breast cancer
• The importance of early detection
• Learn about how you can help reduce your risk
• Myths and misconceptions
Everyone is invited. The group requires a minimum of 30 people to attend, so please contact nisha@cherrylodgecancercare.org.uk to confirm your place/s.
Cherry Lodge Cancer Care invites you to take part in our annual Sponsored Swim to help us provide our wide range of cancer information and support services, all free of charge to help local people affected by cancer.
The event is being held in the stunning swimming pool of QE Boys’ School, Queens Road, Barnet, EN5 4DQ, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Sunday 28th June 2026.
The sponsored swim is open to people of all ages and abilities. Everyone is welcome.
The pool is 25m long. Set your own target (e.g., 10, 20, 30 lengths) and try to beat it!

You are warmly invited to help raise money for Cherry Lodge Cancer Care by joining us at our next seasonal Shopping Extravaganza. This fabulous event will be held on on Thursday 9th July 2026, in the luxurious setting of The Landsby in Merrion Avenue, Stanmore HA7 4RY. You will find a great selection of beautiful French clothes and jewellery, scarves, hats and sunglasses – as well as delicious refreshments to enjoy. All proceeds in aid of Cherry Lodge.
