On Tuesday 3rd March 2015, Cherry Lodge Cancer Care received a very welcome grant from The Foresters Charity Stewards UK Trust. Our photograph shows Tim Friend, a Foresters trustee, about to hand over a big cheque for £500 to Margaret Clark, our chairman, and Tina Papasavva, our charity administrator.
The Foresters Charity Stewards UK Trust aims to relieve hardship and improve quality of life by fundraising and giving grants to charities nominated by members of the Trust. Its trustees try to support smaller, less well known charities – and Cherry Lodge is grateful to have been chosen for a second time.
