On Monday 20th April 2026, Cherry Lodge Cancer Care welcomed our therapists for a relaxed and friendly evening, bringing together both familiar and new faces.
The get together offered a lovely opportunity to connect, share experiences, and learn more about the therapies that support our members. With refreshments and conversation, the evening quickly filled with warmth and connection.
Katherine, Co-Chair, and Caroline, Volunteer Coordinator, opened with a heartfelt thank you, recognising the care, time, and dedication our therapists give in supporting our members.
A reflexology demonstration by Steve Matthew, alongside a sound healing session led by Alistair Smith, offered a glimpse into the therapies available and sparked thoughtful conversation.
The enthusiasm and interest in the demonstrations, along with the connections formed throughout the evening, have inspired plans for another get together creating more opportunities for therapists to share their work and continue building these valued relationships.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, from
Caroline Stevens
Volunteer Coordinator & Befriending Lead
