Wide range of free Activities and Support currently being provided by Breast Cancer Haven

Breast Cancer Haven is a long established and well trusted charity providing free support to anyone with a breast cancer diagnosis.

Cherry Lodge’s Outreach Nurse, Kirsty, has recently been contacted by a colleague at Breast Cancer Haven to tell her about the services they are currently offering. Members of Cherry Lodge are invited to take advantage of their offer, which includes a wide range of live online groups, classes and workshops as well as one-to-one support.

One-to-one support

Currently on offer are: Counselling; Emotional freedom techniques (EFT); Reiki; Hypnotherapy; Nutritional therapy; Mindfulness 1:1; Life-work coaching; Herbal medicine.

Monthly support groups

Held online throughout the month: Secondary breast cancer support; Younger women’s support; General support groups; Anxiety management support; End of treatment support.

Online classes

All hosted by health care professionals. Regular weekly online classes include: Mindfulness; Tai chi; Qi gong; Pilates; Gentle yoga; and Emotional freedom techniques (EFT) to cope with a range of challenges.

Topics for workshops include: Eating Well; Managing effects of treatment; Mindfulness and meditation; Movement and physical activity; Work and daily life.
