Cherry Lodge Cancer Care has five runners raising money for us by taking part in the tcs 2026 London Marathon on Sunday 26th April 2026. Please sponsor them as generously as you can to help keep our wide range of vital cancer information and support services completely free of charge.
Clicking on the names in blue (below) will take you to our runners’ fundraising pages. There, you can read their stories and make a simple, safe, online donation to sponsor them. It is also possible to make donations and follow our team’s fundraising progress by visiting CL’s 2026 London Marathon team page on Enthuse. If you prefer, you can also arrange sponsorship by getting in touch with runners directly, or by emailing Tina or phoning her on 020 8441 7000.
Here we introduce our runners and include a few words from them.
Charlie Gilbert: “I’m very proud to be lacing up the trainers for the Cherry Lodge Cancer Care charity this year at the London Marathon. Cherry Lodge is a fantastic independent charity based in Barnet, close to our families’ hearts.”
Adam Harrison: “This year, I’m running the London Marathon for a reason that’s deeply personal to me. Cancer has been part of my family story for as long as I can remember. I’m running for everyone who has faced this disease, for those currently fighting it, and for the families who carry its impact every day.’
Stephanie Newman: “I am both excited and petrified to be taking on The London Marathon this year on 26th April 2026. But honoured to be taking every step in aid of raising money supporting those suffering with Cancer helped through the Cherry Lodge Cancer Care.”
Kim Sanett: “This feels like the perfect charity for me to support, as it’s already one our school community champions – through fundraising efforts such as the choir singing Christmas songs in the Spires each year – a lovely reminder of how deeply rooted Cherry Lodge is in our local community.
Jamie Shone: Jamie has chosen to use his tcs London Marathon ballot place to raise money for Cherry Lodge, following in the footsteps of his brother Nicholas who ran for us in last year’s event.
Thank you in advance to all our 2026 London Marathon runners and also to their very generous supporters.
