Coronavirus update
Cherry Lodge’s normal programme of Group Activities was suspended on 20th March when our Centre was closed to safeguard our members. Since then a range of group activities has been made available via Zoom. For up to date information, please visit our new website page: Our Current Services and Activities.
In normal times, the following group activities are available on a regular basis, usually once a week.
Cherry Lodge Singing Group
The Cherry Lodge singers is now under the leadership of Simon Wilsher. No audition is necessary. Check beforehand with Lorraine that the group will be meeting and then just turn up, join in and have fun.
Wednesdays (most weeks): 4 to 5 at the Cherry Lodge Centre (with tea and a chat on offer from 3.30).

Cherry Lodge Art and Crafts Group
The Cherry Lodge Art and Crafts Group gives members an opportunity to drop in and enjoy a range of artistic or creative activities in a relaxed and supportive environment.
The group usually meets at Howard House on the last Friday of the month, from 10.30 to 12.

Chi Gung (Qigong)
This involves gentle movements that work on internal energies to enhance general health and vitality.
You may come on a regular basis, or as and when it suits you. No booking is necessary but please speak to one of the nurses before your first visit.
Mondays: 11.00 to 12.30 at St Mark’s Church Hall, Potters Road, Barnet, EN5 5HY.
Yoga – currently not available
This ancient holistic method of gentle exercise brings greater self-awareness, well-being and relaxation.
You may come on a regular basis, or as and when it suits you. No booking is necessary but please speak to one of the nurses before your first visit.
Fridays: 12.30 to 1.30 at St Mark’s Church Hall, Potters Road, Barnet, EN5 5HY
Seated Yoga – currently not available
This popular group activity is currently not available at Cherry Lodge. However, we hope to be able to reinstate it in future.
