Most unfortunately, an injury prevented Cherry Lodge chairman Dr Margaret Clark from taking part in the 2016 Serpentine New Year’s Day 10k. Margaret had been looking forward very much to this annual sporting event, which has been part of her life for the past 25 years.
Having had to pull out was a great disappointment to Margaret in many different ways. However, all is not lost. Our stalwart is currently in the process of trying to contact her many generous sponsors – and several have already agreed (on 1st January) to allow her to transfer their sponsorship to cover her in a different 10k event in the spring.
