Events Programme
Cherry Lodge Cancer Care fundraisers work hard all year to put on an interesting and varied programme of events. They also help third-party supporters to raise money for us.
On this page of the Cherry Lodge website you can see our events programme presented in two different ways. Use the drop-down menu immediately below this text to select either ‘Agenda’ (an interactive list with dates, which is the default option) or ‘Month’ (an interactive calendar that shows the planned events month by month). Each of these options provides an overview of our scheduled events.
You can find out more detailed information about an event in the following ways. If you are using the Agenda view, click on an event to see a display box and a Read More button to take you to the event page, where you will find full details including a map. If you are using the Monthly Calendar, hover your cursor over an event date to see a display box and then click to go to the event page.
Join us for a fantastic day of music, food and fundraising at the ‘Hall of Sound’ event at The Black Horse in Barnet on Saturday 11th July 2026. The fun will start at 12 noon and continue until 1am (taking advantage of extended pub opening hours following England’s progression to the World Cup quarter finals).
This event is being held in memory of Graeme Hall, raising money for three local charities: Cherry Lodge Cancer Care, Noah’s Ark and Food Bank Aid.
Enjoy live music from local artists on two stages (acoustic and electric) as well as delicious food and drinks. A charity auction will be held in the late afternoon with fantastic prizes to be won.
Bring your friends, bring your family, and let’s come together for a brilliant day packed with music and good vibes, all supporting some truly important causes.
Let’s make it a day to remember
For a great evening of Summer Soul everyone is welcome to join as at the Arkley Club, Barnet EN5 3HB on Friday 17th July 2026, from 7.30pm to midnight.
Listen and dance to great music played by our regular Cha Night DJs Matt Charles, Keith Menezes, Dave Griffin with special guest DJ Jamie Topham.
£5 entry, cash or card at the door. All proceeds to Cherry Lodge Cancer Care.
The next Cha Night at the Arkley Club, Barnet EN5 3HB will be on Friday 7th September 2026 from 7.30pm until midnight.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of 60s and 70s Soul, Ska, Motown, Stax, Reggae and Philly Sound from the club’s regular DJs.
All proceeds will help fund Cherry Lodge Cancer Care’s much needed information and support services.
Entry is £5 at the door, with the option of making a card payment direct to Cherry Lodge’s bank account. Top-up donations will of course be welcome.
The Cherry Lodge Cancer Care Pink Tombola barrow will return to the Spires Shopping Centre, Barnet on Saturday 17th October 2026. The fun will start at 11am and last until all the prizes have been won. This popular event is put on each year in October to raise awareness of breast cancer and help fund Cherry Lodge’s many services for local people affected by cancer. There will be lots of excellent prizes so do come along and have some fun trying to win them!

You are invited to ‘Laugh Out Loud’ at Totteridge Cricket Club, N20 8PB on Saturday 24th October 2026. Doors open at 7.00pm and the show will run from 8pm to 10.45pm with two intervals.
Our favourite MC, Sion James, is back to host another great comedy line-up:

• Sarah Mills – high energy BAFTA winner with an absurd take on the world around her
• Ramsey Smith – from Sydney, Australia, a Raw Comedy State Finalist for New South Wales
• Jacqui Doherty – winner of Hillingdon’s Hidden Talent. Funny Women Semi-Finalist at the Leicester Comedy Festival
• Chris Ford – promising oldie, camp preacher, grew up as a Jehovah’s Wntess and worked as an A&E nurse
