A wonderful time was had by all at Cherry Lodge Cancer Care’s ‘Taste of Flamenco and Tapas’ event, held on Monday 24th March 2025 in the luxurious surroundings of The Landsby in Stanmore.
We were treated to an absorbing programme of flamenco music and dancing from Flamenco Con Gusto, a London-based professional flamenco company and dance school. Dancer Danielle delighted us with a spectacular 45-minute-long performance, as well as telling us interesting stories about the different dances. It was then time for others to join in and have some fun learning and performing the steps. Refreshments included Sangria and a tempting variety of delicious tapas. There was also a raffle to raise funds to help fund Cherry Lodge’s vital services for people affected by cancer.
Thank you again to Myra Goldberg for helping Tina organise yet another fantastic event in aid of Cherry Lodge Cancer Care, a charity we know is close to her heart. Also, grateful thanks to the wonderful team at the Landsby, led by food and beverage manager Smit Patel. Finally, thank you to everyone – many of you appropriately dressed in Flamenco red – who came and supported this event.
