Do note the date and come along to Cherry Lodge Cancer Care’s Christmas Market, which will be held on Saturday 30th November 2019 at St James Church, 71 East Barnet Road, New Barnet, EN4 8RN.
As well as helping raise much-needed funds for Cherry Lodge, this annual event is a great opportunity for some Christmas shopping, featuring a wide selection of original and hand-crafted items that will make perfect presents for family and friends. There will also be two tombola stalls, with prizes for children and for adults.
Singers from Cromer Road School will get us into the Festive Spirit with a performance when the Market opens at 11am. Later, at 2pm, the Cherry Lodge Singing Group will be on stage to keep people entertained with a selection of popular seasonal music.
Children will be able to meet Santa in his Grotto and receive an early Christmas present. There will also be face painting and a Kids’ Corner to keep young ones entertained while their adults shop or chat to friends.
Tasty home-made soup and delicious mince pies will be among the festive fare on offer at our Christmas Market cafe, run as usual by our dedicated volunteers.
