Message from Dr Margaret M. Clark, Cherry Lodge Chairman
In response to the accelerating increase in cases of COVID-19 in London, I and the Cherry Lodge Cancer Information Nurses have decided that it is no longer safe for our members to visit our centre.
To fight this virus, there is now a clear ‘stay at home’ message from health professionals and the government. Vulnerable groups of people, including our members, are advised to ‘self isolate’ (i.e., avoid contact with anyone from outside their household). The population at large is advised to practise ‘social distancing’ (i.e., avoid non essential contact with others as much as possible).
Until further notice Cherry Lodge will be supporting people affected by cancer by providing a telephone service.
