London Landmarks Half Marathon – please sponsor our runners

Cherry Lodge Cancer Care has four runners taking part in the 2026 London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday 12th April. We are asking you to sponsor them as generously as you can to help us keep our wide range of cancer information and support services completely free of charge.

Three of our runners have set up pages on the Enthuse fundraising platform. Please visit these pages to read more about the runners and make a simple, safe, online donation to help support our wonderful charity. A fourth runner, Jo Webber, is fundraising independently. It is also possible to sponsor any of our runners by emailing Tina or calling her on 020 8441 7000.

Sophie Abrahams is running in memory of her uncle Anthony, who bravely fought bowel cancer in his 40s but sadly lost his long battle in 2014. He was a regular user of the Cherry Lodge centre and found the complementary therapies very beneficial.

Luke Rogers and Tristan Rogers are fundraising for Cherry Lodge in recognition of all the support given to their wonderful mother, Alison Rogers, who was cruelly taken from them within one year of being diagnosed with suspected kidney cancer in 2024. Cherry Lodge became a lifeline for their mum and also for their dad, her devoted carer. The brothers are seeking sponsorship so that Cherry Lodge can continue to provide their many services to other people in need.

As well as sponsoring a runner, you might like to go into central London to watch the race, which will take place on closed roads, starting at Pall Mall, passing major landmarks including Nelson’s Column, St Paul’s cathedral and the Tower of London, and ending at Downing Street. Runners and spectators will enjoy a great day out, with musical performances, DJs, dancers and themed cheer stations along the route.
