Information
Cancer Information
Reliable information is vital for people who have received a diagnosis of cancer. Our information service is led by our Cancer Information Nurses to ensure that it is medically accurate and appropriate for individual needs.
Information on cancer-related topics is available from our nurses on a one-to-one basis. The nurses will also help you to access information from the internet and other services. We also stock a wide range of booklets and leaflets for you to take away.
Welfare Benefits Advice
A diagnosis of cancer often causes money worries. People affected by cancer can self refer to obtain free advice on welfare benefits from:
- Age UK Barnet: holds financial advice and support sessions in Chipping Barnet Library on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, 9.30am-1pm.
- Barnet Citizens Advice Bureau: to make a booking, please email info@barnetcab.co.uk or phone Barnet Macmillan CAB on 020 8440 4227.
Services and Activities from Other Organisations
We also provide information about Services and Activities from Other Organisations for people affected by cancer.
