Reiki Therapy via Zoom can be very helpful

Numerous Cherry Lodge Cancer Care members have benefited over the years from receiving Reiki healing, which, in normal times, is one of Cherry Lodge’s regular range of complementary therapies. If you are unfamiliar with Reiki, you might like to read about it on the Reiki page of our website. If you are already familiar with Reiki, you might not have realised that this therapy is possible at a distance, including via Zoom.

To promote healing, the trained Reiki practitioner channels life energy through his or her hands to the recipient’s body, which in turn activates the body’s own natural healing process. The therapist’s hands never touch the recipient’s body – so remote healing is perfectly possible.

Cherry Lodge members have been sent an invitation by the Reiki Association to recieve Reiki therapy remotely, and we urge you to give this a try.

These sessions, from a team of dedicated Reiki practitioners, take place on Thursdays, from 10am to 11.15am. An introduction to Reiki practice is followed by Reiki healing and an opportunity to share your experience and ask questions.

The sessions are being offered using Zoom (see below for links).

The Reiki team has written that they are ‘really looking forward to supporting you with Reiki treatments at this time, remotely and safely, with advanced level Reiki practice’.
