Cherry Lodge’s annual Pink Tombola event took place at The Spires on Saturday 14th October 2023, providing lots of fun for people of all ages, increasing public awareness of breast cancer, and raising £424 to keep CL services completely free of charge. Our annual Lights of Love ceremony, held outside the Cherry Lodge shop on Sunday 19th November 2023, attracted more people than ever before and raised a record £5,500. Next up was a November Cha Night at the Arkley Club on Friday 24th November 2023. The very popular Cherry Lodge Christmas Fair returned St James Church, New Barnet on Saturday 25th November 2023 – the total raised will be added here soon. Carol singing by schoolchildren from Barnet and Edgware and a group of mums raised a very impressive £1,394 for Cherry Lodge on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th December 2023.
Plans are already well advanced for our first large event of 2024 – the Summer Soulstice/Cherry Lodge Heart & Soul Ball, which will take place on Saturday 17th February 2024 at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Borehamwood.
From coffee mornings and lunches to running events and bike rides, there is a whole range of activities you can enjoy while also supporting Cherry Lodge.

The Chairman and Trustees of Cherry Lodge Cancer Care are pleased to invite anyone with an interest in Cherry Lodge and our work to attend our charity’s first open Annual General Meeting since 2019.
The 2023 AGM will be held at the Cherry Lodge Centre, Howard House, 23 Union Street, Barnet on Tuesday 12th December, starting at 7.00pm. CL Chairman Dr Margaret M. Clark will present the 2022 Annual Report and our auditor, Andrew Geary, will give a summary of our charity’s financial activities during that year. Both Margaret and Andrew will answer questions from the audience.
After the business of the AGM is completed, light refreshments will be served and attendees will have the opportunity to mingle.

The Summer Soulstice/Cherry Lodge Cancer Care ball is back on the calendar!
Our Heart & Soul Ball will be held on Saturday 17th February 2024 from 7pm until late, at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Borehamwood, WD6 5PU.
Come along and enjoy a glittering evening, with great dance music (courtesy of our friends at Summer Soulstice) and sumptuous food, while also helping raise money to help fund Cherry Lodge’s much needed services for people affected by cancer.
The good value ticket price of £65 per person includes: a welcome glass of prosecco; a tempting three-course dinner; music from Soulstice DJ’s; and a newly announced special live music act from brilliant Soul Singer Tisha Monique.
The dress code is Black Tie.
