Volunteers Christmas Party 2017

Cherry Lodge Cancer Care relies on volunteers to work alongside staff members to provide its wide range of information and support services to people affected by cancer.

Our annual Volunteers Christmas Party was held at Howard House on Tuesday 5th December 2017. Some 50 people attended, including a good cross section of volunteers, from admin helpers, receptionists and therapists, who all help at the centre, to those who help elsewhere, such as befrienders, fundraisers, shop helpers, van drivers and van helpers.

This party gave staff and trustees an opportunity to say thank you to at least some of the people who have selflessly given their time to Cherry Lodge during the past year. Thanks are also extended here to the volunteers who couldn’t attend and also to Yvonne and Kirsty and everyone else who helped make this such an enjoyable evening. The free-entry raffle was won by Peter.
