Members’ Coffee Mornings

Coffee Mornings for Cherry Lodge members, held at an off-site venue, were introduced during the pandemic when Drop In sessions at the Cherry Lodge centre were suspended to protect vulnerable members from possible infection. Missing the sociability and support provided by CL Drop Ins, a group of members came up with an alternative – weekly coffee mornings, which they named Drop Outs. These coffee mornings provide members, old and new, with a regular opportunity to share cancer experiences, offer mutual support or simply enjoy each other’s company.

Members’ Coffee Mornings are held weekly on Tuesday mornings from 10.15am to 11.45am at the Open Door Centre, St Albans Road, Barnet EN5 4LA.

This social group is member led but either Fiona (CL Cancer Information Nurse) or Yvonne (CL Home Visiting Coordinator) always visits and will be happy to introduce new members. Please speak to Fiona or Yvonne before attending for the first time. Free parking is available.
