Lights of Love 2008
Despite snow, wind and rain around 100 people turned out for the switching on of the Lights of Love tree in The Spires. Staff and volunteers read appropriate poems and members of Barnet Voices added to this very special event. Everyone who attended was given a white light stick which looked wonderful when activated. All were remembering a loved one in a special way at this special time of year. It was a very moving event and will now become an annual event on the Cherry Lodge calendar. Over £3,000 was raised.
