Past Fundraising Events

As well as providing much needed money for Cherry Lodge, our past Fundraising Events have been an opportunity for enjoyment as well as hard work!

Theresa Bowman receives a cheque of £1,666.66 from footballers Albert Adomah and John O'Flynn. Barnet Football Club nominated Cherry Lodge Cancer Care to receive a grant from the FA Charity Shield

Sunday 9th May - Tandem Skydive

Tandem sponsored skydive. Tandem skydiving is the best way to experience the thrill of freefalling from 10,000ft whilst strapped to a qualified instructor and four intrepid fundraisers leapt to the aid of Cherry Lodge. Sunday 25th April - The First London Marathon

The first Virgin London Marathon took place and several runners adopted Cherry Lodge as their charity.

Saturday 24th April - Race Night

By popular demand Cherry Lodge hosted a Race Night. All funds were matched by Ladbrokes. Individuals and companies were able to sponsor a race, be a horse owner for the night or just come along and have a flutter. Tickets included supper and there was a licensed bar.

19-22 December - Santa's Grotto

Christmas Market 2009

Christmas Market held on the 14th November in Chipping Barnet Library. Despite horrendous weather over £2,500 was raised and those attending got some real bargains!

Lights of Love 2009

The lights will remain illuminated until the evening of the 6th January on the beech tree in the church yard of St John the Baptist Barnet
