The Cornflower Cancer Support Group was welcomed into the Cherry Lodge fold in 2017 and is now actively seeking new members. Based in Burnt Oak, it offers an opportunity for people living in the East of the Borough of Barnet to benefit from Cherry Lodge services nearer to their own homes.
The Cornflower Group grew out of an earlier group, called Sunflower Cancer Support, which operated as an independent organisation with nursing input and advice from Kirsty Mabb, Cherry Lodge’s Soulstice outreach nurse.
The group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from 7 to 9pm at the Parish Hall, 4 Thirleby Road, Burnt Oak, HA8 OHQ.
