A5 Partnership
This is a partnership that delivers its services through the umbrella name of the Healthy Living Centre Project, funded by the New Opportunities Fund. The Healthy Living Centre started operating in November 2002 and was awarded the largest New Opportunities Fund grant in London. It has united diverse communities and institutions in Barnet's most deprived wards of Burnt Oak, Colindale and West Hendon. These areas are situated in West Barnet along the A5 Road.
The A5 Partnership is made up of the following organisations, which belong to Statutory, Voluntary and Private sectors. These are:
- Barnet Primary Care Trust
- London Borough of Barnet
- Barnet College
- Cherry Lodge Cancer Care
- Sangam Association of Asian women
- The Young People's Drop-in Centre
